About Us

The Stocksbridge Community Forum was formed to give the people of Stocksbridge and Deepcar a voice - a means of identifying and discussing issues of concern in the Valley and raising those concerns with the relevant people or agencies.  It meets bi-monthly at The Venue in Stocksbridge.  For more information about meetings see the Community Forum page.

Examples of where the Forum has been actively involved are:-

Sheffield U3A - Stocksbridge Walking Group

The walking group meets every Thursday at 10-00am.  We walk locally and cover between 6 and 7 miles and usually visit a nearby pub for lunch.  For more information see the Sheffield U3A website www.sheffieldu3a.org.uk or ring Elaine on 0114 2888624.
