Waldershelf Singers is an independent mixed voice choir with around 50 members. The choir was founded in 1962, as the Waldershelf Choral Society, and has continued to exist as a performing unit for over 50 years.
Typically the choir appears in around twelve concerts or events each year. Its repertoire includes a wide variety classical sacred and contemporary secular material.
The choir's primary purpose is to enjoy singing, particularly spine tingling harmonies, and meets for rehearsals on Tuesday evenings every week at The Venue, Stocksbridge, from 7:30 to 9:30 pm.
New members, particularly male tenor and bass voices, are welcome, and should, in the first instance, contact Secretary, Linda Rose on 0114 288 5779
