Stocksbridge Community Leisure Centre

Earlier this afternoon, Stocksbridge Community Leisure Centre was formally opened by coach Glyn Rhodes MBE and light middleweight boxer, Sam Sheady. In addition to the official opening, thousands of visitors were entertained by sporting demonstrations, the Christmas Fayre, Santas Grotto, the mobile climbing wall and music from a variety of local bands.

What a fantastic achievement by the people of Stocksbridge.  Less than 12 months ago the centre seemed doomed and now it's open again!  Congratulations to everyone involved.
