Stocksbridge Festival market

Following ratification from the Town Council a festival market will take place on Sunday 25th May 2014 on the Precinct on Manchester Road, it will be based on the successful Christmas Market model held in December. The Market will run from 12:00 to 17:00.

The Precinct to Johnson St will hold 40-48 Market Stalls, and being a day time event, the drive will be to allocate 40 stalls to local Groups & Traders Manchester Road will remain open to 2 Way Traffic, therefore Pedestrian Barriers and “reduce speed” warning boards will be necessary, As will boards to keep pedestrians and stall holders safe. Cost of hire of a Stall will be set at £25.00 which covers costs (larger donations accepted).

The Market will be open to all local craftspeople, Churches, shop keepers, Local Community Groups for the promotion of the group, charities and Traders etc.
