* Wortley Club receive Barnsley CAMRA Club of the year Award on Saturday 2nd.August 2014 *
On the 1st.,2nd, and 3rd of August 2014, members of Wortley Men’s Club & Institute are organising their second Charity Beer Festival. This starts at 5pm on Friday 1st.August with over 40 Yorkshire beers and traditional ciders available from an outside bar, along with food and live music in special marquees. Saturday is a family day featuring children’s entertainers, a Brass Band, ferret racing, roast beef and Yorkshire puddings and lots of fun and games, topped by live music in the evening. The activities end on Sunday.
The Club was Barnsley CAMRA Club of the Year 2012 and Autumn CAMRA pub of the Season 2012.
